Chuck Norris: Full Name is Carlos Ray Norris born on March 10, 1940, in Ryan Oklahoma to parents Wilma Norris and Ray NorrisNorris is of Irish and Native American descent. Norris‘s inherited his mix heritage from his grandfather who was of Irish descent and his maternal grandmother who was of Native American descent.


Norris Joined the Airforce in 1958 and while stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, he learned Tae Kwon Do karate and received the highest award; Golden Lifetime Achievement. He was the first from a western society to receive this award. In the early 2000’s he received yet another award from the Karate Union Hall of Fame where he received a Black Belt in Brazilian Kung Fu.

Throughout his career, Chuck Norris has won more tournaments than any middleweight champion of his time. In 1972 Norris began a career in film appearing alongside Bruce Lee in “Way of the Dragon. He also starred in The Octagon and Lone Wolf Mc Quaid. Almost twenty years later he began filming the popular TV series, Walker Texas Ranger, which aired for eight seasons.

Norris wedded twice in his lifetime. First in 1958 to Diane Holechek with whom he had two sons; Mike Norris and Eric Norris. Norris and Diane later divorced.

In the early nineties, Norris marries Gena O Kelley who was much younger than he was with whom he had twins; a boy and a girl: Dakota Norris and Danilee Norris.

Most people say I look mean, and because I play so many tough roles and because of my size and my martial arts background, they think I am, but I'm really not.
