Top 3 Mixed Martial Arts Movies that will leave you stunned

Have you ever heard of Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, Katie Holmes then you might be familiar with the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), in UFC athletes fight each other by using different techniques of MMA. UFC fights are some non-scripted fights, but today we will talk about the intelligently choreographed fights in movies in which the main element was Mixed Martial Arts.

1) Warrior

Warrior is a great MMA film with a great performance which will make you Hooked from start to finish. Characters of the movie are deep and unbelievable. The story will probably leave you tears in your eyes. It’s a wonderful story showing how sometimes the world’s strongest forces are insignificant in comparison to the troubles of a scarred family. Whether you’re an MMA fan or not, the adrenaline-pumping fights will have you up and cheering and applauding, I bet you. The fight scenes are done perfectly. Warrior is one of those sports films with a magical mixture of emotional and physical battle. It has a different story of the sport because of this Bollywood inspired and make the remake of it named as “Brothers”. Overall a terrific ensemble cast and movie that certainly should be up for Best Picture!! If you have not seen this movie, drop what you are doing and start watching now.

2) Fight Club

Fight Club is one of the most unique film as it is incredibly stylish, entertaining and smart. It is also one of the Fincher’s best movie even better than se7en. It has one special thing that no other movie has i.e. Every time you watch the movie you will notice something new about it. The direction of the movie is just amazing because of that story itself became so interesting that it doesn’t have any dull moment. Fight club is a complex and intelligent psychological thriller with a brilliant twist and a great soundtrack.

It’s not about fighting others, it’s about challenging your life of convenience and compromise. Watch, then think, then watch again. The overall film is violent with a splash of giggles and a clever script that makes you think and At last I have to say about this movie is that “The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club” :p Go ahead and watch the movie.

3) Bloodsport

Bloodsport is all about fighting and is truly inspirational movie to start learning martial arts. It’s based on a true story about Frank Dux a guy from America who has been trained by a Japanese karate tribe and who wants to honour his master by fighting in a ruthless hard-core competition that is called the kumete.

It has Great fight choreography, excellent filming, fine music and a good story. You will be shocked to see how wonderfully the movie is filmed. You will find that acting is not well performed but it is a martial arts movie and you will never be disappointed in it as all the fight sequences are stunning & spectacular especially the final one.

Some more good MMA films are Never Back Down, Undisputed Trilogy, Blood, and Bone etc.

Overall I will recommend to everyone who is looking for unique fight scenes and especially to the guys who are tired of all the stunts and computer “enhancement” that one can get in martial arts film. Enjoy!!
